I forgot to update billing on one of our Codex subs, and by the next day, it was downgraded, wiping away available usage. Then I figured, why not try Opus 5.5 and see how it does? No joke, it's a way better model. Codex, are you trying to push us to leave?

Seriously, any real app, even with coding tools, takes months to properly develop and a shit ton of usage, so anybody that thinks they can do this is a fucking fool. Yeah, sure, you might be able to do it, but you need to have the skills to truly understand what the fuck you’re doing.

@SPAC89 Yeah, for sure. You're not wrong, but when Claude still offers way more usage and they have Fable and Opus 5.5, this makes no sense to do it right now!

@thsottiaux Hate to say this, but if the existing subs aren't grandfathered, we are canceling all four of our subs and moving them to Claude. Fable and Opus 5.5 will do just fine. Loved working with Astra, but it's just not worth it!

@moonfarm_dev No doubt! I find it so funny that everybody and their brother thinks they can build everything they see with these models, but they don't understand it will still take months, if not a year, to build something real.
