Uniformed armed personnel in green-plated SUVs allegedly rammed our vehicle on Murree Road today while driving at high speed. When we confronted them, around 15 uniformed men carrying AK-47s attempted to take our car keys and snatched our phones as we tried to film the incident.
When we said let’s call the police, they said we are the police as can be heard in the video.
They fled the scene once other vehicles began stopping and noticing what was happening.

This is deeply alarming. No citizen should face intimidation or violence from those meant to enforce the law.
If this is not abuse of authority, what is?
We demand accountability and a transparent inquiry. Citizens cannot be treated this way.

Critics of the Taliban - like Nadia, jailed for protesting for women's rights - risk being caught up in the deportations
They have valid visas but have to renew them each month & can be detained whilst waiting for the extension

Seems clear the army is planning a significant strike on India - in response to India’s earlier missile / drone attacks
“They want to set a new norm,” the Army Spox told me, “will we allow this happen?”
India has carried out strikes in Pakistan and Pakistan-controlled Kashmir, killing dozens of people.
The Indian army also says that at least 10 civilians were killed by Pakistani shelling on its side of the de facto border.
