Thereโs no good civil service structure anywhere when thereโs no good salary structure.
Elrufai was paying civil servants peanut like some bricklayers.
Our people are slaves shiyasa suke kareshi
The Vice President has sparked a debate that was entirely unnecessary and easily avoidable.
One is left to wonder: why introduce such a line of thought in the first place? What objective does His Excellency hope to achieve by framing the discussion this way?
I understand that we northerners, myself included, hate hearing criticism of the North in an Igbo or Yoruba accent.
But we should be saying it ourselves.
Mass weddings are bad government policy. We are treating the symptoms and ignoring the disease.
The reason 2,000 couples need help to marry is poverty.
Letโs solve that instead of papering over the cracks.
@AYNgidda I once did a deep dive into these historical old money and from my findings 90% had roots/dealings with government (either colonial, traditional/clergic, early civil service or military)
In big 2026, if you think Kompany is better than Mourinho then I have nothing to say to you.
Kompany isn't doing an unbeaten with a Benfica squad. Kompany literally took a Burnley squad more talented than Sean Dyche's squad back to relegation
These are the people crying about being stereotyped, these are the people talking about "the Ummah", these are the people talking about mutual respect, not a single one of his tribemen will call him to order.
How are we this comfortable with PMS at โฆ1,400, AGO at โฆ2,000 and LPG at โฆ2,400?
We hit the streets for โฆ147 PMS.
Have we been completely defeated by these tyrants?
No problem.. Same way Felix carry Al Nassr win Saudi Pro League.
Make whoever wan carry Portugal sha give us this World Cup, even if itโs Tinubu, no wahala..
After we don win am, una go sabi who get the Portugal ๐
We are all not ready. Many of you, too, labelled a man who took a second wife after 25 years of marriage as "Dan cin amana", meaning he betrayed his first wife by waiting until she aged before taking another.
We all simply choose the aspects that align with our own biases.
Lol, many of you only bring up one aspect of Sayyidah Khadijah (ุฑุถู ุงููู ุนููุง) supporting the Prophet ๏ทบ financially, but are you prepared to discuss the rest of their marriage?
Are you ready to talk about how the Prophet ๏ทบ remained exclusively married to Khadijah for approximately 25 years, despite living in a society where polygamy was common?
Happy Birthday to the best Chairman in the history of Kaduna North Local Government since the era of our father Honorable Sani Suleiman. From education, empowerment, health reforms. If you judge Chairman's reforms you should judge yourself. A difficult, strong headed, brilliant, genuine and independent thinker. Our Honorable Muktar Baloni. A son of Mallam, a leader in the opposition despite all the pressure. He is someone that has helped in my life. I will never forget it. Alongside Mallam Hafiz, DCOS Sadiq Yusuf and others, Chairman Baloni was the first among us to win an election. Compassionate, exposed and tolerant. He embodies a new generation of new leaders that do what they feel is right and stick to it. This is a factual statement, there is no me without Muktar Baloni and there is no Muktar Baloni without us. We are proud of what you stood and still stand for, and we are grateful. On behalf of the excellent people of Kaduna North that I proudly represent, partly thanks to him. We celebrate the first elected reformer at our level. May God continue to bless you Aunty Maryam. Our father, God rest his soul will be proud. Best wishes my brother.
Signed
Hon. Mohammed Bello El-Rufai

June 6, 2026.
In the name of Allah SWT, in a few minutes my team and I will announce the construction of classrooms in multiple schools in Kawo Constituency and Doka/Gabasawa Zone of Kaduna North Federal Constituency. With the primaries done. We will focus on what we love to do, the work. Thank you.
Honest answer is that damage done to Nigeria is beyond a 2027 fix. We are never getting it right in 2027. The options are not even there as you rightly mentioned. We might not even get it right in the next 2 cycles.
But trust me the hope you see fading away will be restored, if we succeed in voting APC out in 2027, AND voting whoever replaces them in 2031, AND may be do the same in 2035. And looking at the political landscape, we both know that by 2035 we are dealing with new entrants. Maybe not so much a new faces but definitely not the ones we have running today. Strategically, we are at a golden point in our democracy. We take it now or lose it for another 30 years.
Itโs a marathon not a sprint. It will take time to recover from the decades of damage. A quick fix solution wonโt solve it. I know emotions are high but we really need a few of us that will calm down and strategize a long term plan. For me, that plan is
1. Start forming a new political block that will challenge the status quo.
2. Apply steps mentioned earlier
3. Succeed in voting out government in 2027 and 2031.
4. Select strong and credible candidates to be on the ballot and take back control in 2035.
5. Apply steps mentioned earlier
Easier said than done but it is our only salvation. Failure to do this would mean by 2031-2035, the current political class will retire and hand over power to their wicked sons, daughters, and political boys to continue with the wickedness for another 30 years.
