‘Omar Ibn Al Khattab (رضي الله عنه) rapporte: Le Prophète ﷺ se rendit auprès de prisonniers. Soudain, une prisonnière se précipita en direction d’un enfant qui se trouvait parmi les prisonniers. Elle le serra contre sa poitrine et l’allaita. A cet instant, le Prophète ﷺ demanda : « Pensez-vous que cette femme puisse jeter son enfant au feu ? » Nous dîmes « Non, par Allâh ! » – Il dit ﷺ: « Allâh est assurément plus Miséricordieux à l’égard de Ses serviteurs que ne l’est cette femme envers son enfant. »

📝 L’invocation le jour de ‘Arafat

Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « La meilleure invocation est celle du jour de ‘Arafat et la meilleure chose que nous avons dit, moi et les prophètes avant moi, est : "La Ilaha Illa Allah Wahdahou La Sharika Lah". »¹

L’imam Ibn ‘Abd Al-Barr Al-Maliki رحمه الله a dit en commentaire :

« Parmi les enseignements de ce Hadith, il y a le fait que l’invocation faite le jour de ‘Arafat est meilleure que celle des autres jours, et que le jour de ‘Arafat est supérieur par rapport aux autres jours. [..]

Ce Hadith est également une preuve que l’invocation faite le jour de ‘Arafat est généralement exaucée et que la meilleure des évocations est : "La Ilaha Illa Allah". »
