“My friend went to Madinah - desperate to see the Prophet in his dreams. It didn't happen until one night - he spent all night crying and said, 'Ya Rasulullah, Abu Jahl saw your face. I can't be worse than him can I?”
— Shaykh Muhammad Aslam Hafidhullāh
The Beloved Rasūlallāh ﷺ Said:
“Send abundant blessings (Durūd) upon me on the day of Friday, for they are presented to me.”
[Shifā’ as-Siqām fī Ziyārat Khayr al-Anām]
@abolore12345 @Ibn_al_Hujjah Yes, It is mentioned about Shaykh Abu al-Hasan al-Shadhili in Laṭāʾif al-Minan, and also about Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani in Bahjat al-Asrār.
@abolore12345 @Ibn_al_Hujjah I did not claim that the Awliyā’ help at all times, rather, their assistance occurs by Bi’idhnillāh, Bi’amrillāh & Bimashi’atillāh.
Imām Taqī ad-Dīn as-Subkī, in his book Shifāʾ as-Siqām fī Ziyārat Khayr al-Anām, writes about Istighāthah, Tawassul, Tashaffuʿ, and Tawajjuh

In reality, the One who is truly called upon for help (al-mustaghāth bih) is Allah, and the Prophet ﷺ is merely an intermediary between the servant and the One he is calling upon.
@SeyedAli_1 @Ibn_al_Hujjah & That’s his choice, brother, whether he does it or not. I’m simply saying that if someone does Istighatha, there shouldn’t be any problem with it because it’s permissible, and scholars have declared it permissible. So if a person wants to do it, he will.
@SeyedAli_1 @Ibn_al_Hujjah Even if someone is doing Istighāthā, you shouldn’t have a problem with it. Because when someone does Istighāthā, they don’t do it thinking that this is their true helper; rather, they believe that true help comes only from Allah. The Rasūlallāh ﷺ and the Awliya are just a means.
