Yfull updated the MtDNA and it’s a basal form of M1a8b. M1a8 was really a globe-trekker, as you can see.

I can truly say both of paternal and maternal lineages were globe-trekkers.

Milotree MtDNA updated, what I initially thought was a basal form of M1a8 turned out to be M1a8b, only two other Ethiopians share it so far.

True in principle but false historically. The last time we’ve had a united Ummah acting in its own interests against outsiders was during the reign of Banu Umayyah. Once they were overthrown, the Ummah has remained disunited and oftentimes have allied with non-Muslims against other Muslims. This is nothing new. It has been the status quo for large spans of Muslim history. One could call that out. But one cannot make it seem like it’s a modern development.

Of course these systems I doubt are practiced still in modern day Ethiopia with modernization. But I’m assuming it has a huge effect on how they approach modern governance in today’s world.
