I hope I don’t get roasted for this, but I have to say it.

As a man, if your mother, wife, sister, fiancée or girlfriend doesn’t have to expose her body, dance erotically, or sexualise herself just to make sales online, you have no idea how blessed you are. In fact, if you have any young woman who is not in any of these categories, you should be worshiping them more.

What exactly is happening to us? Is it the situation of the economy or that’s just the new trend? It’s becoming almost impossible these days. When I first got married, I called my mom to complain about some argument my husband and I were having. My mom stopped me right there and said, "unless you are in danger, dont ever let anyone into your marriage, not even me". Its was the best advice I could've ever received as a young wife. There is also a belief that litigation will become extinct. This is not correct and can never be. It is one of the areas of practice that is not threatened in that regard. There can be no end to dispute. There can never be an end to litigation or any branch of DR.

Yes, it will undergo some changes. Yes, there will be needs to do things differently to remain relevant and sought-after in litigation. However, litigation, one of the earliest and most known branch of dispute resolution (and law) shall remain till thy kingdom comes.

I encourage those interested in it to keep the passion up, invest in dispute resolution education, read within and outside law, pay attention to their written and spoken words, pay attention to people you come across, study human nature by habit, and invest in your appearance.

She is a strong pentecostal member, the day I told her I dont want to go Nigerian churches in the UK again, she said "My husband anywhere you go, I follow". The same respect, she teaches the children everyday.
When I quarrel her, she will use everything to make peace.

One of the most fulfilling things I did this year was to enroll 15 out of school children back into school at Gosa Primary School, Abuja, for a full academic term (including new uniforms, bags, tuition etc), with a commitment to sponsor their entire basic education.
For these families, this was more than school enrollment, it was dignity restored and future reopened.
I pray God blesses me more in the coming year to increase the numbers.
