The blessing of security is among the greatest blessings bestowed upon creation, for the affairs of religion and worldly life cannot prosper except under its shade.
“And [remember] when Abraham said, ‘My Lord, make this a secure city and provide its people with fruits—whoever among them believes in Allah and the Last Day.’”
Recitation by His Eminence Sheikh Prof. Dr. Maher Al-Muaiqly from the Fajr Prayer, 13 Rabiʿ al-Thani 1448 AH.
It is the way of Allah Almighty that a good deed wipes away a bad deed:
“Establish prayer at the two ends of the day and in the early hours of the night. Indeed, good deeds remove bad deeds. That is a reminder for those who remember.”
[Surah Hud 11:114]
Recitation by His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Maher Al-Muaiqly from the Fajr prayer, 11 Rabiʿ al-Thani 1448 AH.
18-year-old Ahmed Habib Fadi Dwabe was killed on the side of a highway here in Dallas as he got out of his car to help strangers. Ahmed would’ve felt like the most ordinary kid in the masjid, yet Allah wrote that his last deeds were in the service of others. These are our unsung heroes that the mainstream purposefully ignores. May Allah accept him as a Shaheed and grant his family patience.
