Who had the bigger impact at Barça? 💭
◻️ Barça did make contact with Manchester City regarding Rodri.
◻️ One call was made from a senior Barça official to Manchester City.
◻️ City have also received more than one approach from Real Madrid.
◻️ Manchester City's position is clear, they will not sell him this summer.
◻️ According to reports, especially from Madrid, Rodri may be more inclined toward a move to Real Madrid, as he is a Madrid fan and his entire family is based there, unlike a move to Barça. Even so, he certainly would not turn down the chance to join Camp Nou.

Flick Pushes the Squad Hard in England,
Hansi Flick continued to raise the intensity of Barcelona's preseason training during the team's third session at St. George's Park. The German coach is focusing heavily on improving the players' fitness ahead of Friday's friendly against Birmingham City, Barça's second preseason match.
The team will complete three consecutive days of double training sessions (Tuesday which is today to Thursday) before returning to competition.
Injury Updates:
Fermín López and Ronald Araújo trained with the group during the warm-up and rondos before completing individual running work. Both are recovering well from their injuries and are gradually increasing their workload.
Marc-André ter Stegen trained normally while awaiting a decision regarding a possible loan move to Ajax.
Alejandro Balde continued his individualized recovery program and has not yet rejoined full team training.
Frenkie de Jong was on the pitch but did not participate in group exercises.
He is following a conservative recovery plan after suffering a medial collateral ligament injury in his right knee.
Squad Overview:
Barcelona will remain at St. George's Park until August 3. Flick has brought a squad of 30 players, including first-team stars, Barça Atlètic youngsters, and several players whose futures are still undecided.
Raphinha is expected to join the training camp soon, although his availability depends on his recovery from the muscle injury he suffered during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Main Objective:
After two weeks of training in Barcelona and the first preseason friendly against Europa, Flick has increased the physical demands in England to ensure the team reaches a higher level of fitness and match sharpness before facing Birmingham City on Friday.
