Six years in the gym taught me this:
Gut health changes everything.
If you want to improve your gut health, here are all the recommendations I came up with:
1. Stop drinking alcohol.
Over 65% of children and teenagers worldwide suffer from poor posture, with rates climbing as high as 80% post-COVID due to excessive screen time and sedentary lifestyles.
Dangote Cement made roughly N1 trillion in profit in 2025. Double the year before.
MTN Nigeria made N1.1 trillion the same year.
Two companies. Over N2 trillion of profit between them.
Every naira of it came from somebody buying cement or buying data.
Probably you.
Ecclesiastes 11:2
"Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth."
Split your money across seven or eight things, because you cannot know which disaster is coming.
That is diversification.

🔥 Spain Wildfires 2026
🇪🇸 Over 120,000 hectares have burned in Spain so far this year, more than in any other EU country.
That’s roughly the size of Luxembourg (or larger than Malta + Liechtenstein combined).
If you are young and chasing financial freedom, lifestyle inflation is the thing that will stop you.
Live below your means. Buy assets instead of liabilities. Let your investments grow faster than your expenses.
Anybody can look wealthy for a few years. Very few people stay wealthy.
Every investment does one of four things.
YOU LEND
Treasury bills, bonds, commercial papers, fixed deposits, money market funds
YOU OWN A BUSINESS
Stocks, index funds, ETFs, mutual funds
YOU OWN SOMETHING PHYSICAL
Real estate, REITs, gold, farmland
YOU BUILD IT
Your business, your skills, your pension
Crypto sits on its own.
Lending is safe and slow. Owning is faster. Building pays most and fails most.
Start with lending.
If you like, don’t trust the process; be looking for quick returns. And if you like, because you are not seeing those immediate returns, give up.
That's on you.
We’re solving the Olodo uprising pandemic, one NYSC at a time. That’s our contribution to society.
That’s why @Tunde_OD, @hackSultan and I are launching a ₦250 Million Scholarship Fund to help recent graduates gain real, in-demand tech skills that lead to jobs.
Each successful applicant will receive a ₦160,000 scholarship towards a 9–12 month AltSchool Africa diploma in any course of their choice. Beyond technical training, participants will also receive career support and internship/job opportunities through Jobs59.
We also know that learning without a laptop is a major barrier, so we’ll be providing laptops to a select number of scholarship recipients through an additional application process.
If you know a recent graduate who deserves this opportunity, share this post with them.

After four years, Nigeria is back at the top of Africa's venture capital landscape. From leading the continent in 2022 to losing ground as Kenya dominated startup funding from 2023 to 2025, Nigeria's startup ecosystem has come full circle. In H1 2026, the country reclaimed the lead in equity funding, attracting $214 million and recording the highest number of funded startups across Africa.
While Egypt attracted the highest total funding, largely driven by debt backed mega deals, Nigeria emerged as Africa's leading destination for equity investors. The shift signals renewed investor confidence in the country's innovation ecosystem and marks an important milestone in Africa's evolving startup funding landscape.
Here's how Africa's startup funding crown changed hands over the last five years and how Nigeria fought its way back to the top.
Do you think Nigeria can hold on to the crown through the rest of 2026? Share your thoughts in the comments.
