WORLD CLEANUP DAY 2026: LET’S CLEAN ÒSOGBO TOGETHER

In commemoration of World Cleanup Day, the Unofficial Aides Movement, youth-led organisations, environmental advocates, waste management stakeholders, and community development groups will converge in Òsogbo tomorrow for a citywide cleanup exercise aimed at promoting a cleaner, healthier, and greener environment.

The initiative seeks not only to clear waste along major roads and public spaces but also to draw the attention of relevant authorities to the growing environmental concerns across the city. Participants will use the exercise as an opportunity to advocate for stronger waste management systems, improved sanitation, and a renewed commitment to environmental responsibility from both government agencies and residents.

Residents are encouraged to come out and be part of the movement for a cleaner city. Together, we can make Òsogbo cleaner, safer, and more sustainable for everyone.
