🇪🇸 Rodri has only been named by one outlet which is the official one, FIFA.
🚨 David Beckham on Rodri winning the Golden Ball.
🗣️ First of congratulations to Spain for winning the world cup. Luis de la Fuente and his boys have done a great job,Spain deserve it.
I understand why Pau Cubarsi and Unai Simon won the Young player of the tournament and Golden Glove respectively but Rodri winning the Golden Ball isn't worth it.
I understand that he is a defensive midfielder, he's been awesome so far for Spain on the road to winning the World Cup but if you ask me,no player deserves it better than Lionel Messi.
His individual brilliance carried Argentina from match day one to the final. At 39 he scored 8 goals and provided 3 assists. Not giving him this award is ridiculous.
I understand that Argentina didn't win the final but if you look back to 2018,Luka Modric won it despite Croatia losing to France in the final.
🚨Luka Modric on Lionel Messi Deserving the World Cup Golden Ball:
🗣️ “You can’t decide the Golden Ball in a World Cup just because of a single match. This is embarrassing.
Messi has performed so well throughout this entire tournament. Even though he didn’t win the World Cup, he deserves the Golden Ball.
He carried Argentina, created chances out of nothing, and was the best player on the pitch in almost every game. One final doesn’t erase everything he did before that.
I’ve seen many World Cups, but the way they’re treating this feels completely wrong. You don’t ignore months of brilliance and hand it to someone else just because of one game.
Messi has been the standout player of the tournament by a distance. If that’s not enough to win the Golden Ball, then I don’t know what is anymore.”
🎙Arsène Wenger on Rodri winning the Best Player of the Tournament award ahead of Lionel Messi at the 2026 FIFA World Cup:
🗣"First of all, I would like to congratulate Rodri because he has had an exceptional tournament. He is a player who brings intelligence, balance and consistency to every team he plays for. Winning an individual award at a World Cup is something every player should be proud of.
Having said that, if you ask me who I would have voted for, my choice would have been Lionel Messi. What Messi has done once again at this stage of his career is extraordinary. He carried the responsibility of leading Argentina in the biggest competition in football and continued to make the difference in the decisive moments.
The greatest players are judged not only by their statistics, but by their influence on the game. Messi has that rare ability to change the psychology of both his teammates and his opponents. When he is on the pitch, everyone believes something special can happen.
Throughout this tournament, whenever Argentina needed inspiration, leadership or a moment of quality, Messi was there. That, for me, is what the Best Player award should recognise, the player who leaves the biggest mark on the competition.
Football will always debate these decisions because individual awards are subjective, and that is what makes them so fascinating. Rodri deserves enormous respect for what he has achieved, but if I had one vote, it would have gone to Lionel Messi.
Years from now, people will remember Messi's performances, his leadership and the way he inspired an entire nation once again. That is why I believe he deserved to leave this World Cup with the Golden Ball."
If you celebrating Messi crying tonight, just know that you celebrating a 39 year old MLS player coming to World Cup and outperforming all the big football superstars in their prime. Messi there is nothing to cry about, you did 1 million times more than any Messi fan thought you’ll do in this World Cup. Thank you for everything the Greatest of all time ❤️
The biggest edge many successful traders have isn’t strategy.
It’s cash flow.
One uncomfortable truth:
Many mentors have multiple income streams.
-From Investors.
-Broker/Prop firm Partnerships.
-Signal groups.
-Mentorships.
If a mentor loses a $10,000 account today, they often have the cash flow to fund another one tomorrow.
The average trader doesn’t.
That’s why so many people trade with fear,
They’re risking money they can’t afford to lose.
Sometimes the reason why you’re still struggling is because you’re trading with your last capital and you have nothing to fall back too.
One of the most underrated trading strategies is having access to capital.
