@JohnStantonRR I remember my first half marathon - cried at the start line at UBC (what was I thinking?!? I'm not ready for this!!!) and cried at the finish line in Stanley Park (can't believe I started over there and now I'm here!). Best feeling EVER!!
@JohnStantonRR Getting back to half marathon distance! Also, Starting the year as a SportMedBC InTraining clinic mentor/leader for the 5th year and training for my 31st Vancouver SunRun in April!
@JohnStantonRR Looking forward to getting back up to 1/2 marathon distance and attending actual running events with other people (no more virtual races - yay!)
@JohnStantonRR Just knowing I could actually do it and not pass out. Plus, needed a way to improve my time for the Vancouver SunRun after only walking it for a number of years.
@JohnStantonRR One of my favourite winter running pics taken a couple of years ago - some of my SunRun InTraining crew in Langley BC who showed up on a day when we had had a major snow fall the night before. It was a walk in the snow followed by snow angels and many giggles. ๐
This is how happy Sandra Sayer was after leading her 2019 fall clinic to their 10K finale! She's back again this year guiding a group of runners at the Langley Events Centre clinic. Join her for a run and lots of fun on Sunday mornings at 9am starting this weekend! #LTR10K2020
When this crap show hit the fan in March, my brain went sideways and I stopped running. Received an email from @RunForWomen today for the virtual run on Sept 27. I believe I have found my reason to get back out running. Need a running partner that day, @Ohgord ? #womenshealth
Out of my 30 years of participating in the @VancouverSunRun this is one of my favorite memories from 2018 - a post-race group photo with my participants & fellow leaders of the WC Blair Sun Run Intraining clinic (I was the coordinator/leader of the group). #MySunRun
@JohnStantonRR Running in the mornings, doing some core work on non-run days and going to dig out the old bike trainer this weekend for a change of pace.

@VancouverSunRun As disappointing as it is, missing my 2nd Sun Run in 30 years (at least itโs not my fault this time), I understand the decision to not go ahead with the run this year. Looking forward to 2021! Stay healthy, everyone!
