I shed no tears for the TMC’s self-destruction. My only hope is that the political culture of the vandals doesn’t start contaminating the W.Bengal BJP. We in the BJP have to be always wary of false friends who are today cosying up to us because they need to wash away their past sins. The detox of Bengal cannot be left incomplete.
Bangladeshi civilians pelt stones at BSF jawans during fencing in Siliguri (Phansidewa) & Cooch Behar.
BSF shows restraint; no shots fired as continues to seal India-Bangladesh border, curbing infiltration & smuggling after WB govt change.
@ShashiTharoor@abhijeet_dipke 94% Indians?
Most of CJP’s followers are Pakistanis and Bangladeshis. You can easily figure that out from the 🇵🇰 and 🇧🇩 flags and names, unless you’re claiming that millions of Indians, both in India and abroad, are traitors with allegiance to Pakistan and Bangladesh.
You may be a new MP but you are not ignorant at all about the Parliamentary practices. When Parliament is not in session, any MP who is present in Delhi may pay floral tributes to the iconic personalities on their anniversaries at Samvidhan Sadan, otherwise MPs can pay tributes at any convenient location. Parliament officials and some BJP Ex-MPs were present today at Samvidhan Sadan. Politics 24×7 is toxic. We didn't do politics by questioning the absence of Congress & TMC Members.
Kerala election barely made national headlines.
But something dark happened there.
Something most media houses will never decode.
Or maybe… never dare to.
140 seats.
71 needed for majority.
Headline says:
UDF: 102
LDF: 35
NDA: 3
Simple democracy.
Simple numbers.
Simple victory.
Except… the real story begins after the counting ends.
Congress won 63.
IUML won 22.
Read that again.
Without IUML, Congress cannot rule Kerala.
IUML.
Indian Union Muslim League.
A political fragment.
Born from the same Muslim League ecosystem.
The very movement that once demanded Pakistan.
Partition happened.
Borders changed.
But ideologies never really disappeared.
Today, IUML is not some side player.
It is the power broker of Kerala politics.
Education.
Minority Affairs.
Policy influence.
Narrative shaping.
Now add Kerala Congress (M).
Another powerful religious vote bloc.
Strong backing from sections of Christian heartlands.
Now observe the math carefully.
Muslims: 26.56%
Christians: 18.38%
Combined:
Nearly 45%.
Highly consolidated voting.
Now compare that with Hindus.
54.73% on paper.
But politically fragmented.
Split between Congress.
CPI(M).
BJP.
Caste blocs.
Independents.
Regional loyalties.
Personality cults.
Ideological confusion.
Majority in census.
Minority in influence.
And this did not happen overnight.
In 1901, Hindus were nearly 68.5% of Kerala.
By 2011, it dropped close to 54%.
Meanwhile, secularism changed meaning.
It slowly stopped meaning equality.
And started becoming electoral arithmetic.
Every party wanted to look “secular and inclusive.”
So nobody questioned vote-bank consolidation.
Nobody questioned demographic anxieties.
Nobody questioned institutional influence.
Questioning became taboo.
Silence became sophistication.
And Kerala became the laboratory.
A state where political survival,
depends on religious bloc management.
Where coalition math,
matters more than civilisational continuity.
Meanwhile the Hindu voter remained emotionally divided.
Caste divided.
Party divided.
Region divided.
Narrative divided.
The result?
Governments are formed not by Democractic vakues…
But by the most organised Religious one.
And this is why Kerala matters.
Because what begins in Kerala…
often arrives in the rest of India ten years later.
The real question is not who won the election.
The real question is:
When a civilisation becomes too afraid
to discuss its own political reality…
who actually loses the country?
#Bengal Speaks, BJP Wins.
Another major political victory for the @BJP4India has reinforced the nationwide influence of Prime Minister @narendramodi and the continued rise of the grassroots-driven political movement.
99 losses and counting... #RahulGandhi
Is this a reflection of deeper structural challenges within #Congress, or a selective interpretation of electoral data for political messaging?

Never ever you'll see such scenes anywhere. Whole Bengal State Secretariat - Nabanna is celebrating at BJP's grand win today. Govt Employees have all been robbed of their DA for years, today they are all happy to see TMC goon. Mandate wasn't stolen, it was fully against TMC.
अरे भैया जी! मैंने आपका क्या बिगाड़ा है! क्यों आप चाहते हो कि मेरे सिर पर बाल आ जायें! मौजूदा हालात में जन्मों तक नहीं चाहूँगा! जय श्री राम! 🤪🤪🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂
What I find troubling today is not criticism of Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi , but the complete absence of context in how that criticism is being framed. Scroll through Instagram or short-video platforms and you’ll see him reduced to punchlines and reels, often by a generation that has little memory of what governance looked like before 2014. Critique is essential in a democracy, but when it is detached from history, it becomes noise rather than argument.
Consider the backdrop. The 2010 Commonwealth Games scam was estimated by various agencies and reports to involve irregularities running into tens of thousands of crores, with widely reported instances of inflated contracts and poor execution that embarrassed the country globally. The Coal allocation scam led the national auditor to project a notional loss of about ₹1.86 lakh crore due to non-auctioned allocations, a figure that was debated later but nevertheless triggered a national debate on transparency. The 2G spectrum scam carried an estimated loss of ₹1.76 lakh crore based on similar audit assumptions, becoming one of the most politically consequential controversies of its time. Add to this the AgustaWestland helicopter scandal, a ₹3,600 crore deal clouded by bribery allegations, and the Tatra truck scam, which raised serious questions about defence procurement processes. Even where courts later examined or challenged aspects of these cases, the cumulative effect was unmistakable: a deep erosion of public trust.
Against that backdrop, the post-2014 phase has been defined less by scandal and more by structural change. The rollout of GST attempted to unify a fragmented tax system. The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code brought a mechanism to deal with bad loans that had long plagued the banking sector. Digital payments, led by UPI, transformed everyday transactions at a scale few could have imagined. Financial inclusion expanded through Jan Dhan accounts. Welfare delivery became more direct. Infrastructure, from highways to railways, moved at a pace that altered both perception and connectivity. India’s responses to security challenges and its handling of a once-in-a-century pandemic further shaped its global profile.
None of this places the present government beyond scrutiny. There may be some concerns around the real impact of policies on everyday life that deserve informed debate. But reducing everything to memes, while ignoring both the scale of past controversies and the scope of present changes, is not critique. It is amnesia dressed up as commentary.
India is building the ₹75,000–90,000 crore Great Nicobar mega project, featuring a transshipment port, dual-use airport and military hub, to gain Hormuz-like strategic leverage near one of the world’s busiest trade routes.
Here's why it matters: 🇮🇳👇🏻
• Located close to the Malacca Strait, which carries nearly 30–40% of global trade, placing India at a critical maritime junction
• The project offers leverage comparable to the Strait of Hormuz, enabling monitoring of key energy and cargo flows, especially during crises
• Strategically strengthens India’s ability to track shipping routes, including those critical to China’s energy supplies via Malacca
• The planned deep-water transshipment port is aimed at reducing dependence on foreign hubs like Singapore and Colombo
• A dual-use airport and supporting infrastructure will enable faster military deployment and sustained operational presence
• Expands the reach of the Andaman and Nicobar Command, enhancing joint military capabilities in the Indo-Pacific
• Improves surveillance and maritime domain awareness across the Bay of Bengal amid rising regional competition
• Seen as a counterbalance to China’s expanding footprint and “String of Pearls” strategy in the Indian Ocean
• Expected to handle large-scale container traffic, boosting exports and lowering logistics costs over time
• Its proximity to ASEAN nations strengthens regional trade connectivity
This project will position Great Nicobar as a strategic-economic hub, leveraging geography for greater influence over global sea lanes without asserting direct control.
