5. We have barely scratched the surface of VR interfaces. There is a ton of room for innovation in this arena, not just input but output too. Sensory feedback like temperature changes and smells that trigger in response to virtual events could push VR immersion even further.
4. E-sports are about to be A LOT more competitive. As omni-directional VR treadmills + on-body sensors get better they will allow physical movements like sprinting, jumping and crawling to enter game play. The best athletes will find the most difficult physical challenges in VR.
