@Machine_Drum My answer: don't use the public Ethereum blockchain. Create a separate instance of blockchain only for art NFTs. Curators/galleries are the only validator nodes. Separate art from the ETH cryptocurrency. Just use $ to buy the art. BC only used for ownership verification.

@andrewhuang Bandcamp has a great model of allowing you to steam a few times for free before you must buy. They just need to make their app more streaming- friendly, but I think they have stated that this is not their goal.

We need to normalize people valuing art. Directly supporting their favorite creators. Being willing to pay more for streaming.

Selling artificially scarce digital assets in a system that wastes outrageous amounts of energy is not the way.

@ignatiusmusic This is awful... Very close to my house where I often enter the trail. It's a nice area that has been recently landscaped and is highly trafficked.
