Wingspan is really fun. Also easily the most overrated game I’ve seen since I really got into this hobby. We need to have a real conversation about this problem, y’all.

@Privatkatze @LestMyOpinions You are correct. In fact, I thought in my original tweet I said overhyped, which was my intent. My mistake alone.

@BlackwellWriter @theluckysparrow This is how I feel too. And I don’t think it’s unconnected that the hype machine and Kickstarter have grown parallel to rising game prices in general. The $50 euro is basically a thing of the past.

@theluckysparrow It’s a fun game! And if you are ornithologically inclined, I imagine even moreso. But COME ON, people.

@LestMyOpinions And the more a price rockets, the higher expectations get. This game wouldn’t be in the top 10 games I’ve played in the last year, but it is SO unfair to have to live up to that expectation. It was an otherwise enjoyable design.
