@NWSBayArea Iโm surprised we are not under wind warning. We have sustained, house shaking gusts, much more than the warning the other night, east bay hills near the tunnel.
Yes, they were trying to evacuate and gave up and left on foot. There was no place to pull over due to the gridlock at the time. This is partially another city services failure. Emergency protocol should include traffic direction staff to guide all except emergency traffic away from the fires, clear paths by stopping all cross traffic, and expedite getting people out. If the traffic jams and no one is directing it then you get this effect. It happened during the 1991 Oakland fire as well. Traffic stopped at stop lights and cross traffic at a T section at the bottom of the hill, traffic backed up on the hill itself, people were driving through flames. Once they got through and saw the traffic jam, and the fire still so close, they fled the fire and smoke on foot.
@scensionism It bleeds perfectly into The Summoning if you use a 6-7 second crossfade. If you listen very closely to the end of Is It Really You you can hear the pinging opening sounds that are at the beginning of The Summoning.
I totally dissociated at the NY show. I picked it because I knew Iโd have a guaranteed seat, so less crowd navigation stress, but still my brain overloaded on the glory. I truly believe you need to go to multiple shows to get the full experience. Good luck! I routing for all of you!!
@draiochta14 Inference here: A candate that wants America to be a *white* sheet. I suspect Tyler wanted to add that highlighted word, but chose a more careful path. He definitely right.
@fruitvalelocal We live in the only certified fire safe zone in the hills. Super active CORE-trained group with regular drills, which also benefits our insurance coverage. My neighbors refer to me as the canary because Iโm always alerting people. Paranoia works in my favor I guess. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ๐ฌ
