Today, July 16,2026, ICAR-Indian Institute of Farming Systems Research, Modipuram, Meerut proudly joins the nation in celebrating the 98th Foundation Day of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).

Concluding his remarks, the Chairman emphasized that all future scientific outcomes and past activities reviewed during the session must be intentionally oriented to contribute directly to the national vision of a self-reliant Viksit Bharat@2047. @officialicarindia
He directed that all new and ongoing research initiatives must be strictly aligned with the targets outlined in the new EFC. He also suggested the immediate integration of VKSA recommendations into the core research programmes to maximize field-level impact.
