@OriginsJuega@its_Lynx1 The truth is rarely more comfortable than lies.
For many, the possibility that there is no god strikes the same fear that an atheist would get after reading the end of Death's End by Cixin Liu.
@Frausun@its_Lynx1 We all define our personalities with banners. Even in your own bio, you put yourself into 3 neat little buckets. Its nothing to be ashamed of.
Also, don't mistake being part of a fandom with being part of a clan. The suppression of free thought is no where to be seen in a fandom.
@OriginsJuega@its_Lynx1 People believe in those things because they provide community, and community provides a lot of utility.
A marker of low intelligence is not understanding why people do what they do.
@Frausun@its_Lynx1 Wait, but Cicero literally said "The evil was not in bread and circuses, per se." Kinda disproves your whole point, no?
I would like to point out that hatred of something as benign as "fanaticism with sports" is a marker of low intelligence.

@rare__facts There's two vowels.
The first is obviously the letter y, pronounced /i/. The second is the implicit "uh" sound between the TH and the M, pronounced /Ι/.
A, E, I, O, U, and Y are not technically vowels. They're symbols that represent vowel sounds. Every word has a vowel.
