If you're not humble, it's hard to be coached. If you can't be coached, it's hard to get better - Jay Wright

PLAYERS: Worst thing you can be is a quitter. Quitters quit in practice, quit in games, quit on teammates and quit on coaches.

This off-season, AVERAGE players will SPEND time casually shooting around while GREAT players will INVEST time in game speed reps!

[Daniel Makepeace @PureIntensityBB]

This offseason, GREAT players will work on more than scoring baskets. Theyll improve their defense, passing, IQ, strength & conditioning too

@mo_cotts23xo that dude doesn't want TC on his bad side.

Not going to work on your shot this off-season? Then here are the shots your coach will want you to take next year:

@Petey_A11 looks great man!!!

[Nathan Thomas @icdabomb]

@theillestjimmy @CoachKCourt. Love it

We may not be "great" but we have an awesome bench that understands what energy can do for the guys on the floor. https://t.co/GbN18Hc2Rc

[Daniel Makepeace @PureIntensityBB]

GREAT teams have GREAT benches that are:
🏀Engaged
🏀Energetic
🏀Positive
🏀Supportive
🏀Focused
🏀Ready to contribute

There's a difference between playing basketball & KNOWING HOW TO PLAY BASKETBALL TO WIN! Anyone can play, few know how to play to win.

This was us tonight!!!! https://t.co/yyhLe1J2GA

Players that have ENERGY when on the bench are more likely to impact the game positively when they get in!

[Daniel Makepeace @PureIntensityBB]

Mental toughness means you don't buy into the hype when you succeed, and you don't look for excuses when you fail.

[Nathan Thomas @icdabomb]

@PureIntensityBB wait does that mean the officials don't have agendas, wow what an eye opener. #sarcasm

[Daniel Makepeace @PureIntensityBB]

Players who play consistently are players who give the team the best chance to win. Simple as that. No conspiracies, no favorites.

[Daniel Makepeace @PureIntensityBB]

Uncoachable players have a much lower ceiling than coachable players. If you aren’t willing to learn, you aren't going to grow as player.

[Daniel Makepeace @PureIntensityBB]

PLAYERS: Your work ethic shouldn't be determined by what your coach asks of you. It should be determined by what you ask of yourself.

[Daniel Makepeace @PureIntensityBB]

This time of year, losses are lessons! Don't let them discourage you! Use them as motivation to improve!

[Daniel Makepeace @PureIntensityBB]

Basketball is a WE game, not a ME game. WINNERS play for the scoreboard, LOSERS play for the scorebook!

[Daniel Makepeace @PureIntensityBB]

Great players have great practices consistently. If u practice for a week & have 3 great ones & 3 avg. ones, u're probably an avg. player.
