wait… so you’re telling me these KOLs “printing” on fomo and pump were just:
> partnered with teams to buy coins using funds given to them
> paid cash to publicly hodl those coins
> never actually had their own capital at risk
> round-tripped the “profits” because it was never their money
> led thousands of their “followers” who are used as exit liquidity to the slaughterhouse
> and somehow convinced everyone theyre god-tier traders
wild. don’t confuse an undisclosed paid partnership with someone actually trading their own capital.
one is trading.
the other is paid marketing.
I’m about to cause an earthquake across CT
Your favorite KOL is running a shady Telegram memecoin scheme
And I'm not talking about Frank, the LA vape cabal, etc.
It's the good ones that act holy on the timeline
All have around 10-60K followers
Over a month ago, I entered the trenches and joined every mid-sized KOL Telegram I could find
Now I finally understand how the game works:
1. They buy a low cap memecoins
2. They post them in Telegram
3. Their followers and copytraders rush in
4. They wait 5–10 minutes
5. They exit
Afterward, they brag that they “gave their community a 2x” based on the exact second the call was posted
But it gets worse
These 10K–60K follower KOLs are all in private groups together, coordinating the same calls across their Telegram channels at the exact same time
Some of the people involved are accounts I genuinely believed were credible
Absolutely disgusting
Cryptic’s 3 Tips for Trading the Current Market
Cryptic has a highly versatile trading style, but he’s best known for identifying asymmetric small cap opportunities before the wider market catches on, particularly innovative projects experimenting with new ideas.
Some of his most notable early calls include:
Pandora: $1M → $300M
Act: $1M → $400M
Arc: $15M → $600M
Hoodrat: 200k > 20mil
Net: $1M → $70M
Stonk: $1M → $300M
Most recently, he's grown his $10K Pump challenge wallet to $200K in just one month, all public.
Here are his three tips for navigating the current market:
1. Don’t be afraid to go against the crowd
By the time a trade becomes consensus, most of the people likely to buy are already aware of it and already positioned.
Some of the biggest market inefficiencies can be found by looking where the crowd isn’t. That doesn’t mean being contrarian for the sake of it, but don’t be afraid to trust your own instincts and thesis, even if the crowd disagrees.
2. Execute well and size appropriately
Plenty of people can identify a trade that eventually goes up. Far fewer can actually see it through.
Your entry, ability to ride volatility and eventual exit are all part of the trade. Some of the best researchers I know aren’t necessarily the best traders, and execution is often the reason why.
Position sizing is arguably the biggest factor. Oversize and you’re more likely to get shaken out by volatility. Undersize and you may not care enough about the position to give it your full attention.
Get your sizing right and good execution becomes considerably easier.
3. Focus on yourself
The rise of social trading has made this harder than ever. We’re constantly exposed to huge P&L screenshots, making it easy to feel as though we’re underperforming.
That feeling can push you into forced trades, excessive risk and poor execution, all of which will ultimately lower your returns.
Drown out the noise and focus on your own journey. You’re trading for your goals, on your timeline. Don’t let someone else’s results pull you away from your process.
For newcomers:
- We launched 5 months ago to tokenize real world collectibles. The mission is to make memecoins more durable and real world collectibles more liquid
- 27 tokens, 14K+ users and $4M in total market cap to date. Day one
- When we launch a new gtoken we distribute onchain via a Uni pool, an airdrop to diamond hands and launch packs
- gJENSEN was launched this week, our first token on the green chain
- gJENSEN airdrop and packs coming soon. Supply is capped at 500M and this airdrop and packs will be from the existing supply
A nonobvious problem solving we’re solving is making memecoins durable.
Memecoins as we know them today are printed out of thin air so there’s too many and 99.9% are easy come, easy go. People have fun trading them but know they pump and dump to 0.
Gtokens are onchain and backed by real world collectibles. There’s memetic value but there’s also durable offchain value.
In some cases like gMJ there’s a large established market for the collectibles so the onchain price will likely be tied closely to the offchain price. Some like this stability but others want more upside.
Then we have tokens like JENSEN and gSPEED, backed by nascent collectibles markets that our onchain community can own. These tend to be less tethered to offchain prices and have more upside.
There’s certainly a world where this becomes the standard. We are the market.
