And the Prophet (SAW) said "Spread the Salam, feed the needy, perform prayers while people are sleeping & you will enter Paradise with ease. (at-Tirmidhi). May Allah make us among His peaceful servants and make Jannatul Firdausi our final abode amin. Hasbunallah Wa Ni'imal Wakeel
You can go a whole day in Nigeria and never leave Tony Elumelu’s empire. Most people don’t even notice they’re doing it.
Wake up, check your bank app. That’s UBA. His.
Pay your insurance. Heirs. His.
The power keeping your lights on? Transcorp feeds part of that grid.
Weekend at the Transcorp Hilton. His. Reach for your HMO card at the hospital. Avon. His too.
Banking. Power. Insurance. Hotels. Healthcare. Real estate. Tech.
One man, quietly sitting inside almost every part of your day.
And it wasn’t luck. He left UBA back in 2010 with one plan, own the things a country simply cannot do without. Fifteen years later, he does.
One man. The spine of an entire economy.
🚨BREAKING: Didier Drogba says if the USA didn't want other Countries citizens in the US they shouldn't have bid for the Fifa world cup 2026 and says denial of Iran supporters and Somali referee Omar Artan is totally unacceptable, Football should be separated from politics
"When a country bids to host the biggest football tournament on the planet, it knows exactly what comes with it. Players, referees, officials and supporters from every corner of the world are part of the package."
"I look at the situation involving Somali referee Omar Artan and I feel disappointed for him. FIFA selected him because he earned that opportunity on merit, yet he was unable to participate after being denied entry."
"Then you hear about Iran's football federation claiming that its supporter ticket allocation was withdrawn just days before the tournament. If true, that leaves ordinary fans paying the price for issues that have nothing to do with football."
"The people suffering are not politicians. They're supporters who save money for years hoping to follow their national team at a World Cup."
"Football has always been one of the few things capable of bringing different cultures together. The moment politics starts deciding who gets to be part of that experience, everyone loses."
"I played in World Cups and international tournaments. The beauty of those events is seeing supporters from dozens of countries sharing the same streets, the same stadiums and the same passion."
"No fan should be judged because of their nationality, and no referee should miss the biggest moment of his career because of political circumstances beyond his control."
"FIFA, governments and football authorities need to find solutions because the headlines right now are about visas, travel restrictions and disputes instead of the football itself."
"The World Cup should belong to the world. That's what makes it special. The game must always come first, and politics should never be allowed to overshadow football's greatest celebration."
If I tried to give my fiancée (now wife) money when we were dating, she would ask me what it’s for & why you are giving her money. She would reject it
I could remember the one and only time she asked me for money, 11k to be precise, 3 years into our relationship. It was cos she was in a very tight corner — she was going for her clinicals driving her dad’s car when she had a minor accident and needed it fixed before she returns home.
If you see how excited I was when she asked me for the money ehn. 😂🤣
But now that we are married, if I give her money, she go just dey shine teeth 😂🤣
She believes that if you are neither an orphan nor crippled, then you shouldn’t be collecting money from a man who isn’t your husband. That’s how they were brought up & that’s how I’m bringing up my girls.
Now you see why I really get pissed on this app when I see how men are spending on women they aren’t married to and more disgusting is women feeling entitled to a man’s money.
Your parents simply failed in giving your proper training, that’s all.
Give a man free sex, entertainment, and comfort, and he’ll forget his goals.
Give him pain and heartbreak, and he’ll feel like conquering the world.
Dear bro, hard times are a blessing, not a curse.
Players denied entry .
Officials denied entry .
Referees denied entry.
Now they're denying fans entry.
The U.S was a terrible choice to host the world cup.
It is only in difficult times that you realize how few friends you have. Ironically, it is only in difficult times that you realize who your real friends are.
Someone needs to collate all the debate material, audio/video between Muhammad Yusuf, the founder of BH, and Clerics like the Late Sheikh Idris Dutsen Tanshi, Mallam Isah Ali Pantami…etc and lectures by Late Albani Zaria, Late Sheikh Ja’afar…etc. There is a treasure trove of information that could provide clarity into the ideological dogma of BH/ISWAP/Ansaru…etc, and would put things into clear academic perspective preserved for the future so as to enable horizon scanners, to build resilience against what could come in the future.
For the Military, such documentation could form the basis of materials for training at the Officer Cadet level, and other strategic levels of Military Command trainings.
Nigeria owes the world the history and evolution of this cancer that we are still fighting, but more than anything else, as a lesson learnt the hard way, and a story that is still unfolding.
“And speak kindly to people.” [Baqarah, 2:83]
This verse does not say “speak kindly to Muslims”, it says “to people” (an-nās), encompassing all human beings. It teaches us that kindness, respect, and good manners are universal values. Whether dealing with family, friends, neighbors, strangers, or even those who disagree with us, we are commanded to choose words that uplift rather than wound. A believer’s speech should be a source of mercy and dignity for everyone, reflecting the beauty of faith through character before words.
This is the largest sporting event on the planet, despite what some Americans may believe, and the decision to prevent Africa's leading referee from participating in the World Cup sends an extraordinarily damaging message about the United States and the direction in which it is heading.
I am genuinely astonished that FIFA has not lodged a formal protest with the United States Government and sought intervention to ensure that this referee, who is held in the highest regard within the international refereeing community, is granted a visa to undertake one of the most important roles in world football. For any referee, appointment to a World Cup is among the greatest honours the sport can bestow.
A person's country of birth should never be the sole reason for preventing them from entering a country to carry out a specific professional duty at a specific international event. Particularly when the President of the United States publicly assured the world that participants would be welcomed.
If nationality alone has been the determining factor, then this is a serious stain upon both the tournament and the host nation. It raises profound questions about fairness, equality of treatment and whether political considerations are now taking precedence over sporting merit.
The World Cup is supposed to bring nations together. Decisions such as this achieve precisely the opposite.

This man that just passed on is moving around, still trying to rush through files and his laptop and beckon on his colleagues. Very confused. The acceptance has not set in yet that he is dead. He could remain that way for decades.
This is why i feel sorry for many of you who feel specifically clever by mocking things that are new to you.
When you pass on, what waits for you at the other side of the curtain, is not something you want to go into unconscious and without knowledge.
Ignorance is the only real sin.
Alhamdulillah!
Today, I celebrate 35 years of Allah’s boundless mercy, grace and countless blessings upon my life.
Every year has been a chapter of growth, lessons and moments that have strengthened my faith and shaped my journey. I am deeply grateful to Allah for preserving me, guiding my steps, and surrounding me with family, friends, mentors, and well-wishers whose love and support have greatly enriched my life.
As I begin this new chapter, I am reminded that life is not measured by the number of years we live, but by the values we uphold, the impact we make, and the lives we touch. My prayer is that Allah grants me greater wisdom, sincerity, humility, good health, and the strength to continue serving humanity with purpose and compassion.
At 35, I embrace the future with renewed hope and a commitment to becoming a better servant of Allah and a better contributor to society. I pray that my best days remain ahead and that every opportunity I am given becomes a means of benefiting others.
To everyone who has been part of my journey, thank you for your prayers, encouragement, friendship, and kindness. May Allah reward you abundantly and continue to bless us all with long life, barakah, and the privilege of leaving behind a legacy of goodness.
Happy 35th Birthday to me.
Alhamdulillahi for everything.
The days leading to the kick off of any FIFA World Cup since forever used to be filled with so much anticipation, joy, promise, love and happiness.
This one is not giving any such vibes. It’s been from one controversy to another reckless and senseless decision.
Zero Aura.
