NEW: 15-year-old girl r*ped, shot, and set on fire by her own mother and her mother's boyfriend in Louisiana.

Horrific.

Latonya Harris, 40, and Terrence Washington, 41, were arrested after police made a disturbing discovery after Washington crashed his car.

Police found a 15-year-old girl in the backseat of the car with unrelated injuries to the crash.

According to Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet, the girl was "found to be suffering from large-scale burns to majority of her upper body and multiple gunshot wounds."

Washington admitted to s*xually abusing the girl and shooting her with a shotgun in the chest and face.

He accused the mother of setting her on fire with half her face burned off.

One of the girl's eyes had to be medically removed and she lost multiple teeth.

Relatives say she "looked dead" when they went to visit her at the hospital.

The girl unfortunately has many more surgeries ahead including mouth reconstruction.

NEW: Seattle woman Janet Garcia pleads not guilty to stabbing her 4-year-old son to death & dumping him over a fence.

Why does she have a beard?

Investigators say Garcia stabbed her son 41 times before dumping his body along the I-5.

They believe the death was pre-meditated considering she was going through a custody battle with her mother, the boy's grandmother.

Her son was reportedly terrified of her and had defensive stab wounds on his hands and arms.

Garcia's other son (7), told investigators that his mom also choked and dragged his brother down the stairs.

Garcia is being charged with first-degree murder and domestic violence with a deadly weapon with bail set at $3 million.
