. Apply Anti-sieze to brake caliper sleeves (Serves as lubrication to allow your brakes to compress and decompress without locking up. Should already be lubricated but more doesn’t hurt and sometimes lack the right amount of lubrication)
Expert tips
. Apply blue lock tight to rotor screws and the caliper bracket bolts (This prevents the screws and or bolts from backing out while driving. This has been known to happen)
Optional but Helpful
•Creeper or mat – Makes sliding under the SUV comfortable.
•Flashlight or work light – Improves visibility under vehicle.
•Oil disposal container – Used to transport old oil for recycling.
•Glasses - So dirt or harmful liquids doesn’t get in your eye
Supplies
•Engine oil – Used 5w-20 (check owner’s manual for your engine type or oil cap).
•New oil filter – Replace every oil change for proper filtration.
•New crush washer/gasket – Helps prevent leaks around the drain plug.
