I just miss when @Safaricom_Care had customer care agents you could talk to by simply dialing 100. Nowadays, by the time you get connected to one, you have to provide two ostrich eggs, a snake’s feather, and a flask of warm crocodile tears. Aki Zuri wewe! 😂

The strongest position a man can take is in complete surrender to God.
Biblical submission will never diminish your influence. It’ll multiply it exponentially. When you bow your heart before the Almighty, you become a conduit for divine power that transforms everything you touch.
The world has convinced men that surrender equals defeat, and that yielding to authority makes you less masculine. This thinking reveals a fundamental misunderstanding of how spiritual authority actually works. Every king in history served under a higher authority, and every general followed orders from above. You cannot effectively lead others until you learn to follow the ultimate Leader. I spent years resisting this truth. I thought independence meant strength, and believed that submitting to God's will would limit my potential and constrain my ambitions. I was determined to build my own empire, make my own rules, and chart my own course. But operating outside of divine authority kept me operating below divine capacity, which is an ongoing battle.
The breakthrough came when I realized submission to God isn't about Him controlling my life, it's actually about Him empowering it. When I align my will with His, I gain access to resources beyond my own capabilities. When I surrender my plans to His purposes, I discover strategies I never could have conceived. When I yield my strength to His direction, I operate with power that multiplies my natural abilities.
Biblical submission looks like this: You acknowledge that God's perspective transcends your limited viewpoint, and you trust His timing even when it conflicts with your urgency. You’ll often choose His methods even when they seem inefficient by worldly standards. This is wisdom accessing infinite power. It’s a heart posture.
David understood this principle. He could have killed Saul multiple times and taken the throne by force. But he chose to wait for God's timing instead of seizing his own opportunity. That submission to divine timing strengthened his eventual reign. He ruled with God's backing because he had waited for God's blessing.
Daniel demonstrated the same principle in Babylon. He submitted to God's commands even when they conflicted with the king's orders. That spiritual submission didn't diminish his influence in the kingdom, it increased it. His unwavering loyalty to heaven made him invaluable on earth.
Jesus modeled perfect submission to the Father's will. "Not my will, but yours be done." That surrender in Gethsemane released the power that conquered death itself. His obedience unto death resulted in a name above every name and authority over heaven and earth.
When you submit to God's leadership, you gain His backing when you speak, and you become a leader others want to follow because they sense divine authority flowing through you. You’re able to align it with the One who moves mountains and changes hearts.
Your resistance to God's leadership reveals insecurity about your own identity. Strong men can submit because they know whose they are. Weak men resist submission because they're threatened by any authority higher than their own limited perspective.
Stop viewing surrender to God as a limitation on your potential. Start seeing it as the pathway to supernatural influence. The most dangerous men in history were completely submitted to divine purpose. They changed the world not in spite of their surrender to God, but because of it. Their submission to heaven gave them authority on earth that no human rebellion could match.
Submit to the ultimate Authority and watch Him amplify your influence beyond anything you could accomplish through independent effort.
