There is a famous samurai poem that says “my barn having burned down, I can now see the moon.”
as you come more clearly into the recognition of the timeless within you, each of the challenging experiences that come we will be grateful for them, because they speed up your deliverance,
they burn your sluggishness and laziness
they put you to stand in front of god
so for this I say yes even these experiences we are thankful for them
we will not turn our backs on truth for the challenges rather we will stand more firmly in them
something so wonderful to be discovered in this life and sometimes life has to push you a little bit and kick you a little bit to say ‘wake up out of your sleep, find me, find that which is unperishable, unburnable’ and now the moon can be seen.
and we are grateful.
