Most Australians will think it's not their primary concern whether Israel responded too harshly, or not harshly enough. The anti-Zionist lobby seems more powerful, and better funded than the pro Israel lobby. They are also more unified, suggesting to me that the pro Israel lobby is grass roots (pretending to be very professional), but the anti-Zionist lobby is highly co-ordinated, very professional in fact.

Here is a well documented report uncovering many, many instances of (Australian) ABC current affairs bias. The ABC acts as though it has a political opinion which it is entitled to promulgate to its viewers.

The report shows that there has been (a) misleading reporting, (b) reporters' personal political opinions merging into their reporting, (c) minimal reporting on issues which don't match the ABC's ethos, (d) complete reversal of the facts in the ABC's possession in some cases, (e) reliance on discredited sources without informing the viewers of such, and on and on .... Just open it and read it
