There seems to be an issue with the council tax invoice that I received today from my local council.
It says I have a quite substantial increase, and yet here you are plainly telling me that I won't be paying a penny more from next month.

Here we go, this 26-year-old man was fined £462.30 at Cheshire Magistrates' in September after he bought an 'anytime' ticket and used it before 10am.
@northernassist brought this case in a private prosecution. Their own app will tell you this ticket can be used any time of day.

Women aren’t allowed to be attended to by male doctors in Afghanistan, and women aren’t allowed to go to school either or work outside the home… So women no longer have access to healthcare providers. Women are not allowed to speak or read in public because their voices are c c considered intimate, they are not allowed to look at men they are not related to by blood, they can’t go out in public without a male escort, they are literal prisoners but yes, feminism is the problem. Misogyny and the patriarchy have no logic, no care, no humanity.

Part of the problem with winter fuel payments is the chronic underclaiming of Pension Credit, a key benefit that now triggers entitlement. It's thought 880,000 due it won't get it, and they're the poorest pensioners.

I doubt the awareness raising campaign can have much impact on that (I and others have been shouting about it until we're blue in the face, for years)

It needs proactive one on one contacting of likely candidates, eg those not getting full state pensions.

Yet even that is hard because there are so many scams targeting elderly how do you ensure people trust that it is legit?

I'd be interested in your ideas on how to reach the hard to reach pensioners who may be eligible.
