The Islamic Centers of Manteca, Modesto, and North Sacramento are pleased to invite the community to a special weekend seminar (April 3-5): “Reviving the Heart” with 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐲𝐤𝐡 𝐀𝐛𝐮 𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐀𝐥-𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐢.

The Shaykh has spent 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟑𝟎 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 traveling around the world calling to Islam upon the Qur’an and Sunnah, maintaining close connections with senior scholars and conveying the guidance and reminders they have taught.

Topics that will be covered insha’Allah: Diseases of the Heart & Their Cures, Struggle of the Nafs & with Shayṭān, & Indeed the Believers Are Brothers.

It was a pleasure visiting these communities in California last weekend and meeting the brothers for the first time. I truly enjoyed my visit there and I was delighted to see how well established these communities were.

We extend our sincerest gratitude and love to our beloved teacher, Shaykh Mustafa George (حفظه الله), for traveling to Northern California and blessing us with a truly insightful, beneficial, and unifying weekend seminar on the advices of Luqman (alayhis-salaam) to his son and how the Salaf raised their children. May Allah reward you abundantly, accept every effort you made, increase you in knowledge and wisdom, preserve you for the ummah, and allow us to continue benefiting from your guidance for many years to come.

We are deeply grateful to the brothers and sisters who traveled from different areas of California and out of state to attend, including our brothers and sisters from SoCal, the Bay Area, Colorado, and other places. Your journey and presence added immense barakah to the weekend.

May Allah reward our dear brother Abu Anaya and his wife Umm Anaya who organized and prepared the wonderful Monday morning community breakfast after Fajr, as well as brother Ilyas and his wife who made and brought amazing dishes. And to everyone else who contributed food, prepared, served, and cleaned up afterward—your sincere efforts touched every heart and were greatly appreciated.

Jazakum Allahu khayran to every volunteer who served, every brother and sister who brought food, and to all those who traveled—some from great distances within California and others from out of state—just to attend and benefit. Your presence and sacrifice made this weekend truly special.

May Allah accept all of our efforts, unite our hearts upon tawḥīd and the Sunnah, and make this gathering a means of guidance and barakah for everyone involved.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for our regular classes this week, in sha Allah.
