Facebook parent company Meta apologised after a video from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Facebook account was taken down and then restored, with the company attributing the removal to an error. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has summoned Meta’s global head of public policy over the incident, and the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Communications and Information Technology will meet to take up the issue on 3 August.

As we know, Meta houses a very large number of individuals from India, who clearly are anti-nationalist while there also are Pakistanis inside Meta team. Removal of Modi ji's video was no "error". Instead, it was done on purpose. During the recent protests of CJP (which is connected to AAP), Meta had played disturbing role by boosting anti-BJP and anti-Modi posts.

In my opinion, taking legal actions against Meta is not enough. This company needs to be penalized for illegally removing Moji ji's video. Let them pay at least $1 billion and penalty. At the same time, Meta must provide full list of individuals who are employed in its "Community Standard" team.
