Brothers and sisters, if you’re still sleeping on the Democrat Party, you need to wake up.

Democrats have said for years that there wasn’t enough money to help Black communities, but suddenly there seems to be money for millions of illegal immigrants, with funding for hotels, debit cards, and other assistance programs.

People need to start asking questions. Wake up and pay attention to where the priorities are.

Happy 250th birthday, America.

When I think about this milestone, my mind does not just go to the history books, the barbecue, or the fireworks.

It goes back to Techwood Homes, the Atlanta housing project where I grew up, and to a childhood that did not look like the beginning of the American Dream.

I knew what it was like to feel forgotten, overlooked, and left behind.

I also know the miracle of the United States of America.
In this country, where you start does not have to dictate where you finish.

I never had money or connections. What I had was the freedom to work hard.

I got hired on straight commission because I believed that if I could outwork everyone else, I could make something of myself.

With God's help, I did.

I built businesses. I created thousands of jobs. I worked to build a company that valued its employees and gave people a chance to grow. I built a life the boy in those housing projects could not have imagined.

That is the American Dream.

And that is why celebrating the birth of this nation is so deeply important. America is not just a place on a map. It is a promise. It is the promise that no matter your background and no matter your struggles, you have the God-given liberty to chart your own course.

As we celebrate America's 250th anniversary, we have to ask ourselves: Are we keeping that promise alive for the next generation? For me, that question is not abstract. It is personal.

We have to fight for the values that made America strong: hard work, faith, self-reliance, family, and looking out for our neighbors. Those are the values that built this country 250 years ago. Those are the values that carried me from poverty to possibility. And those are the values that ensure our brightest days are still ahead of us.

I am running to fight for Georgia families who feel forgotten and to protect the values that make our nation strong.

As families gather for this 250th birthday, I hope we remember what we are really celebrating. We are celebrating a nation where a child from Techwood Homes can go from hunger and foster care to building companies and creating jobs. We are celebrating a country where liberty is not handed down by government, but given by God. We are celebrating a promise that must be defended in every generation.

Thank God for this country. I’ve had the honor in the privilege to get invited out by the White House to preach this Sunday at the national mall.

I am so humbled and honored to be praying in front of millions of people to spread the word of God. When was the last time the Democratic Party did something like this to preach and raise up the word of God.

We see the Democratic Party having gay parties, but they never have Christian parties. New York, for example. The mayor of New York threw a LGBTQ party and that got praised yet when Trump is trying to raise up the word of God that doesn’t get praise.
