so if heeseung WANTED to leave the group & release his mixtape (that he’s been workin on for a LONG time) why did he ‘leave’ in MARCH w NO song ready and made overflow from scratch at the end of april? + he wasn’t allowed to make “immature” the debut song?
This photo perfectly explains the massive injustice here.On one side someone releasing their second album without leaving their group on the other someone kicked out of the group just for 2song digital album under the excuse that the groups schedule is too busy for solo projects
oh and btw, there’s a difference between supporting your idols and turning a blind eye to a company with a documented history of mistreating their own artists.
“𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘆𝘀” 👇🏼
• heeseung had his mixtape finished in 2024/2025.
• jungwon said that without one, the group was different. he felt strange.
• jake said “together, the 7, we are going to show you new things in the future” a month before that statement.
• “we are preparing a tour,” heeseung said, just a day before he was kicked out.
• “what the company suggested was followed,” never a “i chose.”
now it’s 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 turn to listen to them.

ppl seriously underestimate how hard it is to break or leave a k-pop contract early. these contracts are not casual agreements, they involve years of training, investments, schedules, branding, marketing and legal obligations. companies spend millions building idols and groups, so an idol usually cannot just wake up one day and decide to leave the group a year before contract renewal because they “want to go solo” if you’re not new to k-pop, you already know how this industry works.
if an idol leaves group activities while still having time left on their contract, most companies are not going to accept that without a reason. from a business perspective, it simply makes no sense. there are financial consequences, image risks, fandom reactions and potential damage to the group’s brand. that’s why contract terminations or group departures are usually far more complicated behind the scenes than fans realize.
and honestly, if the idol was truly acting completely against the company’s wishes, why would the company continue keeping them? especially when the idol leaves the group but still remains under the company.. that alone already tells you there is more happening internally than what fans can see.
there are usually negotiations, mutual interests, long-term planning, image management, or strategic decisions involved behind the scenes. but ofc ppl still love reducing everything to “they just wanted out”
