@pickover It’s that there is no connection. Everything observable is through the lens of the models we create to understand it, and could be entirely different to another observer. Maths (logic) on the other hand applies consistently and independently.
@pickover If the clock is working, then it can never be pi o’clock (as time is discrete) however if it stops working, you could theoretically set the hands to point to it.
@pickover You’ll need a hypothesis before you can design a test for it, and that test design should be within the conventions of the scientific community. In fact, I wouldn’t bother designing a test until you’ve had the funding agreed. So don’t touch that dice yet, Clive.
