I watched the odyssey and I have nothing to say that people more educated than me on matters haven't already said, but I keep thinking about the scene with the deer on circe's island and am stuck between thinking it was neat but also how it was an example of how unsubtle nolan is

i think maybe my entire review of nolan's odyssey was "he mde things infinitely less interesting"

i think it was interesting that nolan acknowledged this debate by adding that bit, but also by confirming that it was, in fact, a transformed human it makes things infinitely less interesting i fear
