“One of the nicest things about writing for children is their total acceptance of the fantastic. While we are within those four walls anything can happen, for it is a magical place and herbs are known to have special powers.”
Just witnessed a lady in Boston leaving a restaurant saying “this place sucks, come on boys.” Before being followed out by three men in kilts with heavy Scottish accents. The New England women are exactly where they want to be
I hope if the UK get a chance to host the world cup they take a leaf out of usa's book and zoom in on random British celebs like Tyrone from Corrie, Gareth Gates and the guy from the pepto bismol ad

I will take a couple of weeks' leave from Twitter as I travel to China. It is actually refreshing (as I discovered on my previous trips to China) to forget about social media. If our self-control were better, we could do that by ourselves, i.e. without a state cutting off the links. But as the case is, we generally cannot do it without external compulsion.
⚠️ It’s believed the 4.40pm train from Corby to St Pancras has crashed into the rear of the 3.50pm service from Nottingham to St Pancras.
The incident happened approx 2 miles south of Bedford.
Fascinating reading in the new @risj_oxford report on the news. The cold facts don't quite match the public statements made by some of these organisations. BBC, ITV and Sky the TV news services with by far the highest audiences.
