I'm not a fan of "natural law" ideology. How one deals with other people is a matter of 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑎𝑙 𝑐ℎ𝑜𝑖𝑐𝑒; there is no inherent "human nature" which determines what moral principles any particular individual will choose to adopt. Some people choose to steal, coerce or defraud. Others choose to beg or rely on some other emotional appeal. Still others trade honest value for honest value.
You can't logically say that one moral system is "better" than another, because the moral system one chooses is the 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑟𝑑 by which one differentiates "better" from "worse."
What you 𝑐𝑎𝑛 say is that the effects of choosing to deal with others by trade -- by mutual consent, to mutual advantage -- brings peace and prosperity to all parties. Employing any other method delivers advantage to one party at the expense of a victim.
Which sort of world you want to live in should be your guide to deciding which moral system to adopt. Do you want to deal with others as predators and prey, or as equal trading partners?

If you trust the government to protect you from bad people, consider:
If you are a bad person, the safest place for you to do bad things is within the government. There you can injure others with impunity, called "sovereign immunity."
Also consider:
Good people rarely seek jobs coercing peaceful people to do things they do not want to do, or taking their honestly-acquired property without their consent.
Also consider the incentives that government employees have to do their work successfully. If a social problem is solved, the government department may be downsized or closed. Unemployment threatens. On the other hand, if a social problem gets worse, the department gets a larger budget, more authority and perks. Now try to think of a successful government program. The wars on drugs, poverty, terror, crime, disease . . . show me a winner.
Government is not a necessary evil. It's just evil.
No redemption for a mass-murdering, treasonous, pedophilic war criminal. The worst person Jeffrey Epstein ever met (that was Epstein's assessment). But "the damage has been done"?? He's not nearly done with the damage yet. He's just getting started. And the AIPAC-owned Congress won't impeach him.
@LibertyCappy Most "conspiracy theories" are true; government is almost infinitely corrupt and lies about everything. But this one is a standout:

@GovMikeHuckabee Hopefully the next loud boom you hear will be the last sound you ever hear. You tremble at the thought of crazed Iranians while hiding among sadistic, genocidal monsters whom you love.
@BRICSinfo He posted "Heil Hitler" as an obviously sarcastic reply to the post below. He was not expressing admiration for Hitler, and your implying that it does means you are a lying asshole. Unfollowed.

Has any physician been held liable for injury caused by a vaccine he administered? Has anyone been held liable for harm done by any of the government-approved vaccine schedule? Patients should educate themselves about vaccines -- because their doctors only know what the pharmaceutical companies have told them in the pharmaceutical-funded medical programs. Pharmaceutical companies, by the way, have NO liability for vaccine injuries and deaths. Physician, educate yourself.
