HIGH LEVELS OF RAP. DISCO/DANCE. RNB. NOBODY CAN DO WHAT JUST DRAKE DID. NOT KANYE, NOT LAURYN HILL. I’ M TIRED OF THESE NAMES COMING UP EVERY TIME WE ASK WHO MADE SINGING AND RAPPING DOPE AF
This has always been my argument for FSHS. Corruption steals more from us than FSHS does. Even if we can’t afford it, we must find a way to. That’s the only policy that benefits every single Ghanaian household. Protect it!
I set out to make a Highlife sound that speaks to both the old and the young. Recognition is beautiful, but impact is deeper. I stay proud the music found its way to the people and into playlists.
This is what it was meant to do.
The journey continues.
The Ghana Music Awards have always been a pointless awards show. It's more of a clique-driven organization that picks favorites without considering merit or the growth of the Ghanaian music scene. They're a big part of why the Ghanaian music industry isn't moving forward. Young folks, just ignore these awards schemes and move on. Ebi yawa show!
