John Horgan believed in the power of public service. He saw it as a privilege, as a way to help others and to make our country better.

He loved British Columbia. As Premier, he had a tenacity, passion, and dedication for his work that very few could match. Through the pandemic, through wildfires and floods — through everything — he led with courage and warmth. He was a true progressive—a leader on climate action, affordable childcare, and Reconciliation. He championed the economy and clean energy, and he advocated for workers. And he always believed that we would get more done if we worked together.

My thoughts are with his wife, Ellie, his two sons, and all those who loved him. I will miss him dearly.

Canadian-born Khushi Kaur Jhalli (15) is a three-time national medalist. On June 28, 2024, she competed in the Pan American Championships in the Dominican Republic, where she wrestled in four matches, winning three and losing one, ultimately earning a silver medal for Canada.

She attends Guildford Park Secondary School in Surrey and competes in the 69kg weight category.

This is the cut on the neck of the first victim of the stabbing at White Rock beach. The second picture is a screenshot from a Global News story about the second victim, who didn’t survive. Doesn’t it look scary?

It’s very disturbing and concerning for many that the killer is still roaming free and can attack again. Many witnesses were present at the beach, and there are dozens of cameras there, yet @WhiteRockRCMP hasn’t released any picture or sketch of the attacker. Why?

@TrevHal @KerryLynneFindl People are afraid to visit the beach. You should follow up on this issue.
