the hilariously grim part about all this is that streamers are incentivized to get bans because they never last more than a few days and garner tons of publicity that doesnt affect them at all in the long term. it’s free advertising for them and twitch. sad!

EE is def in the wrong for this but more of the problem comes from Twitch always walking back their bans a day or two later. since they’re a corporation, they’d rather keep the people that make them money on the site than having citizens’ best interests in mind
