The crime was heinous, and the guilty deserve nothing less than capital punishment and questioning the state’s BJP govt over law and order is absolutely fair.
But facts matter: one of the accused is from Manipur, another from Uttarakhand itself. Calling this a racist attack is simply dishonest.
By pushing such an angle, the ecosystem is playing a dangerous game. The objective is clear, to create a narrative that alienates Tripura from the rest of India.

This case is a living example of how media and social media turn any incident into anything they want.
You may choose not to believe the police, but how can this be called racism when both the accused and the victim belong to the same region?
