It takes a special kind of cruelty to see people who have lost everything, and are fleeing for their lives from war, torture and state murder, and think "Hmm, how can we make life even worse for them?"
@CllrIanParker@JasonForCroydon Nobody benefits from playing party politics with this. Where are the grown-up politicians who will admit they all made mistakes, but need to work together to get a fairer deal from central government?
@marktyrrelluk@SavingSessions I'm not sure Octopus have explained that bit very well because it's a bit complicated. It appears to be part of a wider industry scheme, and is explained here https://t.co/0gG96h5SgE TLDR - the 10 day average is adjusted to better fit the 3 hours leading up to the saving session.
@ungrim97@OctopusEnergy@TheDarylSharp@SavingSessions Handy bonus tip as a consequence of this. Shifting electricity use into the three hours before a saving session will give better rewards than shifting it into the three hours after the saving session.
@ungrim97@OctopusEnergy@TheDarylSharp@SavingSessions So if like me you had a spike in consumption a few afternoons last week because, say, your boiler broke and you had to run an imersion heater, you may find you need to use a negative amount of electricity during saving session for it to actually be counted as a saving.
@johnhefford @OctopusEnergy Could be worse. Our smart meter data says our consumption was 96% lower than the average for the same weekday hour over the previous fortnight, but #savingsessions results say we saved nothing. The in day adjustment would need to be pretty extreme to justify that.
Just so that as many people in #Croydon know, understand and remember, when it came to a vote of confidence in a lying, law-breaking Prime Minister, @CPhilpOfficial said he’s vote with his pay-check.
It is a secret ballot, though #NoConfidence#Partygate
@SophieJarrett@RoyalMailHelp@RoyalMail Same for my parcel. It's been incorrectly recorded as delivered, then as delivery attempted - address inaccessible. Neither tracking page nor tracking assistant are able to acknowledge that it hasn't been delivered and is still in the post.
@PenmanMirror Thanks for pursuing this Andrew. I saw your followup piece. Is there any reason why it doesn't make clear that even the £50 fee Travelup are still witholding can't be justified by their old Ts & Cs?
