Ethereum needs more security engineers.
Attackers are scaling faster than defenders, and the pipeline of qualified researchers is too small.
Guild Academy is building that pipeline — 5 cohorts in.
We're in @thedaofund 500 ETH Ethereum Security round on @Giveth, and it uses Quadratic Funding.
That means $1 from 100 donors > $100 from 1 donor. Your small donation unlocks much more from the matching pool.
If our work matters to you, even $1 helps.👇

if you're a woman in tech, and under consistent, intense stress, I would get a full blood test panel with thyroid coverage.
we don't talk enough about how there is real irreparable damage that can be caused, specific to women's bodies
and it's simply not worth it.
there is always a peaceful & joyful path to creating.
Day 1 of my Uniswap V4 Bootcamp @AtriumAcademy
We started from the beginning
V1 → V2 → V3 → V4
Crazy how Uniswap evolved from simple ETH pairs in 2018 to fully customizable pools with hooks today
Quick one:
Do you know which version introduced TWAP?👀

Docs explain what hooks do. They don't show where yours will break.
🔥 Tomorrow, @TomWade does. He built Flaunch on day one of v4.
We're running a one-hour live session to build your first hook.

#CertiKInsight 🚨
We have seen an exploit on the @hyperbridge gateway contract.
https://t.co/KAWSMhHkBg
The attacker slipped through a forged message to change the admin of Polkadot token contract on Ethereum and profited ~$237K from minting and selling 1B tokens.
Stay Vigilant!
after shitting on the whole sr community, making an april fools joke about being hacked…and now they got hacked luckily enough it wasn’t too much anyways but they had better get another audit and setup a bbp for safety cause there are definitely lots of bugs to be disclosed/discovered.
3 steps to find more bugs in smart contracts as a security researcher:
1. Understand the protocol deeply (read contracts and docs multiple times, take notes).
2. Find all the bugs you can (deep audit).
3. When you think you're done, push further (drain yourself with ideas).
To every Web3 builder who's quietly struggling right now.
You're not posting about it. You're not tweeting "Day 30 of grinding." You're just sitting there refreshing your email waiting for a response that isn't coming.
I see you.
The market is rough. Funding dried up. Hiring is frozen. Your mass DMs to founders go unanswered. Your applications disappear into the void. Your mass imposter syndrome keeps telling you maybe you're not good enough.
Here's what I want you to hear:
You're not struggling because you're not talented. You're struggling because the market contracted and 10 talented people are now competing for every 1 seat.
That's not a you problem. That's a market problem.
But here's what separates the builders who survive downturns from the ones who don't:
The survivors don't wait for permission.
→ They build without a job title
→ They contribute to open source without being asked
→ They write about what they're learning even when nobody reads it
→ They pick up bounties instead of waiting for salaries
→ They show up in communities and help others without expecting anything back
And then one day, a founder sees their GitHub. A protocol lead reads their thread. A recruiter finds their profile.
And the DM comes.
Not because they applied. Because they were visible. Because they kept going when it was easiest to stop.
I'm not saying this to motivate you with empty words. I'm saying this because I've literally watched this happen to people I know. In 2018. In 2022. And it's happening again now.
The ones who kept building during the bear market? They're running teams today.
So if nobody has told you this week:
→ Your skills are real
→ The market will turn
→ The work you're doing in silence right now matters more than you think
→ Don't go back to something you hate just because the timeline feels slow
Keep building. Keep shipping. Keep showing up.
The market always comes back to the ones who didn't leave.
Follow @suraj_sharma14 I share Web3 opportunities, grants, hackathons and resources for builders every week. You don't have to figure this out alone.
i find it really fcked up when you have to ask men “what if she was your sister, daughter or mother” in order to make them see women as valuable human beings
Most protocols don't get hacked because of exotic bugs.
They get hacked because of:
- missing access control
- unchecked return values
- copy-pasted code they didn't fully understand
The basics aren't boring. The basics are what keep your protocol alive.
