@HoustonCrypto1 @helium @RAKwireless That depends on the kind of insulation the attic has. If you can see sky through the roof tiles, you are safe. But in modern buildings the attic is insulated with some kind of synthetic wool backed with tin foil. And this works as an insulator also for RF.

@HoustonCrypto1 @helium @RAKwireless Glass will detune the antenna and the setup will not work as expected. The setup should do something but far from ideal. Consider putting the antenna at the top of the building with free sight all around.

Today my 40 year old Lagostina Classico lost a handle. I found the lose parts and screw and fixed it with some Loctite. Good as new for another 40 years!
