You opened a document called
“Facts Beyond Propaganda and Lies”
with a fake number.
You wrote that Peter Obi contracted US$123.77 billion in external debt.
Your own table says the contracted sum, the amount signed, is $123,771,179.30. That is $123.77 million.
You added three extra zeros and ran with it.
A government that cannot tell million from billion has no right to call anybody a liar.
That aside how did only Peter Obi borrow US$123.77 billion in external debt when the entire Nation’s public debt stood at US$9.7 billion?
Are you people mad in Agu Awka?
Then the contracted column is not even the unpaid loan. The unpaid loan on your table is $92.35 million as at June 2026. You converted that leftover at today’s rate into N127.4 billion and billed it to a man who left office in 2014. The naira collapse is not his debt.
Obi never said Anambra took no loans. He said that on 17 March 2014 he was not owing salaries, pensions or gratuities the state government was supposed to pay, and he was not owing any contractor whose job was done and whose papers were processed.
Fight that sentence. Stop inventing a different one.
Those eight facilities are World Bank project credits for malaria, farming, health, education and erosion. Two of the biggest were signed on 30 July 2013. He left eight months later. The Debt Management Office recorded about $30.3 million external and about N3 billion domestic at the end of 2013. That was one of the lowest state debt stocks in Nigeria. Your N127.4 billion line is 2026 exchange rate padding.
“He spent $4.05 billion, which is N5.4 trillion today” is the same padding. You restated eight years of spending at today’s naira. That is not evidence. That is a calculator trick.
You claim you pulled a certified statement of First Bank account 2018779464 and that the N2.13 billion never sat there. Publish it. From opening to 17 March 2014, with narration. Until you do, you have an accusation. Your own Commissioner never mentioned a N2 billion ecological loan on that podcast. You accused Obi of inventing a loan you admit was not even named.
You said Peter Obi owed people gratuities and pensions.
Publish the names of those people and the bank statements or official documents showing exactly what they were owed and what remained unpaid.
We are in the era of verification, not an era where politicians make claims and expect Nigerians to accept them as facts.
Give us the proof.
Proof or shut up.
The Water Corporation hole started under Mbadinuju from 2000. You are still paying it in 2026. That is a 26 year parastatal fight. It is not proof that Obi left unpaid state salaries and certified contractor jobs.
Anambra in 2014 led NECO. It won national MDG recognition. Health institutions moved from zero accreditation to more than twelve. “Dead schools, dead hospitals, increased poverty” is campaign talk. It is not the 2014 record.
The human development numbers bury that smear. Before Obi, Anambra’s subnational HDI sat around 0.59 to 0.60 in 2005 and 2006. When he left in 2013 and 2014 it was around 0.65 to 0.66. Nigeria’s national HDI in those handover years was about 0.51 to 0.52. The state moved up and finished in the top tier of the country. You cannot talk “increased poverty” and ignore that.
Correct the billion. Table the bank statement. Table the DMO figures. Until then, your press statement is the propaganda and Obi never start to show you shege!
