@dr_kingjames Stop correlating VG's arrival with winning the league. He played a large part in it, but if Merino or Kai had played as many minutes, they’d have similar numbers. What we’d been wanting for years is a player capable of keeping Kai on the bench. Alvarez is better suited for us.
@UtdZaa not a flashy player, but offers at minimum a 7/10 performance every match. He doesn’t get tired, he’s a good defender, he carries the ball, excellent passing and set pieces, leadership, elite physicality, he’s a winner, kobi is great but no England player swaps him for rice.
@ssnews247@centregoals@COPE If we have a striker that can link play we can return to the style of play we had in 23/24. The team can score goals and there’s a defense to match it now. Arteta likes players that are versatile VG is extremely good at what he is good at, but he’s wasn’t an upgrade on Kai
@Tripple____M He didn’t win the league for us. If we’re completely honest he played a part, but he didn’t have the impact in big 6 matches and for sure didn’t have the impact of the “striker “ we were dreaming of for years.
@Tripple____M Is this like a joke? Alvarez suits our style of play much better. Sweden doesn’t play like us the fact that he’s playing better there highlights that. The striker we were after was supposed to be somebody. That’s a huge upgrade on Havertz. That’s not something we can say about VG
@hovie_09 A lot of people started watching football after he left the team. It doesn’t mean they can’t be fans especially if they’re up-to-date on everything after they began watching.
@Tripple____M There’s a player in him. The talent he has is undeniable he just can’t get it to work out. We also said the same about Noni and here he is in England over Foden and Palmer whether you agree with it or not. I think Arteta has earned our trust if he sees something.
@panzerboy39@TheArsenalMind Auba wasn’t a traitor lol. He had a good influence on Bukayo and scored plenty of goals during one of our low periods. Mikel he didn’t show he wasn’t playing so he made a statement by removing him.
@MrWhalez@TheArsenalMind Creativity isn’t the issue we actually created a lot of opportunities goal scoring is the problem. Especially goals from nowhere the way that Alexis would do that.
