@raiiii_kun I get this view too. Last week when Lando DNF'ed, had McLaren already won the constructors' would they ask Piastri to retire? Probably not. One could argue this is technically the same, as they were both incidents of luck. End of the day, its managing the drivers I guess.

@raiiii_kun From McLaren's P.O.V. i think it's clear they did it not to upset Norris. They've been adamant they treat both drivers equally, and had they not swapped, it'd seem like they sabotaged Norris.

@KavinkaFdo I get it, the sentimental feeling. TBF, fingers need to be pointed at mngmnt too, if we are upset with Trent. Even if they offered him a contract last April, they shouldn't have let 3/4 (arguably) most key players running out of contract in the same year.
