@techhsiren A police officer who worked on cases with children came into my college criminal justice class and told us how important it is to teach children the correct words of their body parts. Not only does it help in SA cases, but it scares away pdfs. It stuck with me ever since
@bethanyjbabcock They had this at the NICU my daughter was in and my daughter’s foot was so small, it slipped off a few times. It caused the NICU to go on lockdown and nurses running into her room, I’m holding her while sitting down like 😃 not even knowing it fell off 😂
Very good to know!
@plslvamsg Rightttt! Idk what happened to people over the yrs. If you have kids, they’ll have friends and eventually want sleepovers. Those are core memories for them! I hope to be the house everyone feels welcomed and safe at when my daughter (and future children) gets older
@plslvamsg Exactlyyyy 😭 usually there wasn’t a set pickup time, but by/after dinner was typical. A lot of the time a 1 night sleepover would turn into 2 nights lmao. If I had to leave or had to have my friend leave at 10am, there prob was no sleepover in the first place
@FAIRYM00NSTAR It was so bad… my sister’s ex bf loudly said it in front of my MIL in HER HOME, the way she turned around and yelled at him 😭 never seen her mad like that before. He kept apologizing and said he didn’t know it was a curse word, which I don’t understand how someone wouldn’t know
@jinscardigan I started shaving my legs in middle school because in gym class I noticed that the other girls were doing it. My mom tried telling me no but I did it anyway because I felt like I had to fit in with them. Now I wax, and if I do it’s only if I feel like it.
