Genocide is defined under Article Il of the 1948 UN Genocide Convention as any act committed with the intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial, or religious group. One of the five acts is “deliberately imposing destructive life conditions.”
Look at these photos of what is left Kfarkela, a once vibrant border village. I took these photos last Monday.
Remember that more than 65 towns and villages in Lebanon are still under Israeli occupation and are still undergoing daily illegal civilian home and infrastructure demolition.
These are acts of genocide.
NEW: A convicted money launderer has operated at the highest level of UK politics for a decade. Why? Because Farage has enjoyed almost total impunity from the UK press.
In my new piece for @thenerve_news, I expose the decade of denial that’s enabled him to act with impunity

If these were Israeli kids it would be headline news on RTÉ.
The Taoiseach would give a statement and express his horror.
We would all know their names.
But they're Palestinians so nothing happens.
And Ireland still allows US warplanes who enable this land every single day.
😢 The tragedy of Britain has never been a lack of wealth or resources. We’ve had coal, steel, oil and gas, fertile farmland, world-class universities, scientific innovation and now some of Europe’s best renewable energy potential. There has always been more than enough to build a prosperous, secure society.
The problem has never been scarcity. It’s that too much of that wealth has flowed upwards instead of being shared more broadly.
Today’s divisions aren’t inevitable. They are the result of political and economic choices. Britain isn’t poor bc it had nothing to give. Britain is struggling because, too often, a small minority has captured the rewards while asking everyone else to accept less.
That’s the real tragedy of modern Britain: there has always been enough to share, but not enough willingness among those with the greatest power and wealth to do so.

CNN will never show you this : An Israeli settler pointing a gun at a Palestinian farmer.
"This land is mine now. Get out. Never come back"
The farmer's family worked that land for generations.
The settler flew in from Eastern Europe.
Paid for by record-breaking oil profits. Notice how you can't spot a single billionaire here? They're safe on superyachts, completely detached from the reality they funded to deny.
📍 Lai Chau Province, Vietnam yesterday.
My favorite 'Good riddance Starmer' bit - he blocked UK Joint Intelligence Committee report warning that climate crisis brings food shortages in 5 years.
Gagging not climate activists, but the spies!
His legacy - Ed Miliband branded climate zelot

The Speaker is right: Parliament requires radical reform.
We need:
🗳 PR for the Commons
🗳Abolition of the unelected Lords replaced by a Senate of the Nations and Regions
🗳Major devolution of power to the English regions

Day one as Labour leader. Locking us into a future of higher bills and climate breakdown. And telling the world that Britain is stepping back from our climate obligations.
Hard to think of a more damaging start to Burnham’s premiership than giving green light to new oil & gas in N. Sea, if true. It won’t lower bills or lead to greater energy security but will drive an even hotter more dangerous planet #ClimateVandalism

NEW: Mayor Zohran Mamdani invoked Nelson Mandela to demand Palestinian freedom, and asked why the world keeps waiting until injustice is safely in the past before opposing it.
“Why must we wait until thousands more parents bury their children, until even more lose their limbs, their homes, their futures?”
Mamdani warned that one day nearly everyone will claim they opposed the devastation in Gaza. The real test is where people stand while it is still happening.
"Choose peace rather than confrontation except in cases.. where we cannot proceed, where we cannot move forward. Then if the only alternative is violence, we will use violence"
Mandela addressing the Palestinian assembly in Gaza. He knew a thing or two about fighting apartheid.
The war has returned to Gaza with full force in recent days.
It's no longer limited to isolated strikes; entire residential areas are being bombarded and destroyed. Killings are being carried out by drones, helicopters, and tanks.
There is no longer a genuine ceasefire. This necessitates our intense focus on what is happening in Gaza.
Do not underestimate the power of writing and speaking out. Silence is complicity in the killing.
🇺🇸🇮🇷 U.S. attacks on Iran have increasingly targeted civilian infrastructure over the past three days.
🔹Friday: Two bridges and a road tunnel were struck, killing three people and wounding eight.
🔹Thursday: Six bridges, a railway junction, and an airport were attacked.
🔹Wednesday: One bridge and one airport were hit.
🔸In total, U.S. forces have struck nine bridges, two airports, a railway junction, and a road tunnel since Wednesday.
At least 41 Iranians have been killed and 408 wounded in U.S. attacks so far in July. Iranian authorities said the casualties include three women and one child killed, along with 22 women and nine children wounded. 47 people remain hospitalized.
🎥 Report from Al Jazeera is attached.
Yesterday, Keir Starmer announced another 26 peerages for the House of Lords, bringing his total to 66 in just two years.
Starmer in 2022 👇
“Labour will rebuild trust by replacing the House of Lords with a smaller, democratically elected second chamber.”
Biggest fraud ever.
