Inspired by @FoolishBB's recent video and meme regarding the "Chad Innings Eater", I decided to build a composite metric to award the Chad of the Year based on weighted average of IP+, ERA-, and WHIP- called CHAD+. Here are the COTYs since 1980 and the top 15 CHAD+ seasons (LBE)
@TFG_Football He was put into a situation with an opportunity to succeed, but incredibly tight margins. He had a few missed plays that could have changed things. He needs to own that. But is it fair to say that we need to re-evaluate what we already know about how special he is?
Human beings are called to be co-workers in the work of creation, not merely passive consumers of content generated by artificial technology. Our dignity lies in our ability to reflect, choose freely, love unconditionally, and enter into authentic relationships with others. Recognizing and safeguarding what characterizes the human person and guarantees their balanced growth is essential for establishing an adequate framework to manage the consequences of artificial intelligence.

@RobertFrey40 It feels like after massively overestimating the strength of the Braves over the last two years, the model estimations of their true talent should have shifted much lower than they have. Not buying 2nd in the NL as the most likely outcome personally
@BlakeHHarris On your side regarding a cap but this doesn’t make the point you think it does. Bottom 20 payrolls have only won twice in the last 15 years. That’s 2/3 of the league at any given time. Spending is highly correlated to winning so more teams should do it
@TFG_Football I think it’s worth mentioning that the second highest payroll this year didn’t even make the playoffs. And the dodgers spent a decade being the laughing stock of the league for choking in the playoffs. This doesn’t happen every year
Aroldis Chapman fired 8 shots into a wall because of a fight with his girlfriend and is still in MLB.
Marcell Ozuna beat his wife and is still in MLB.
If you believe this then I don’t know what to tell you. He’s not in the league for something much more sinister.
Dodgers sign player because they offered the most money: sport is broken
Dodgers sign a player when they don’t offer the most money because of the quality organization and winning environment they’ve built: sport is broken
